The Beijing International Chamber Orchestra (BICO) founded as an intercultural project in 2007 and holds a unique position asone of the most active chamber orchestras in the Asian region. Comprising aninternational group of professional and amateur musicians living in Asia, the BISO gives an annual subscription series of concerts with local and internationally renowned artistsin a wide range of venues from the concert hall to churches. The orchestra’s programming embraces a diverse repertoire from Baroque to contemporary Chinese compositions and newly-commissioned works.
